  • <21 December 2010> Our latest upgrade is now available! This upgrade is for the King TB4 and TB5 machines. It consists of a new light source with ultra bright LEDs, a new self calibrating photo electric sensor with PIC micro controller that has 23,5dB electronic dust compensation. A new batch counter with a high tech PLC and touch screen terminal. The upgrade has our successful "Dust-No-Problem!" detection algorithm.

  • Our successful "Dust-No-Problem!" upgrade for the King TC-8 is now also available for the SWIFTPACK SPC series machines. The upgrade consists of a newly designed emitter and detector board to replace the old SPARC systems boards. The new emitter board has 26dB self adjusting FOG lights and the receiver board 20dB automatic gain control. Together they form a self calibrating system with 46dB electronic dust compensation to compensate dust powder that builds up on the count head windows while running uncoated tablets. Additionally, the receiver board has a 16 steps digital encoder to set the channel sensitivity. The sensitivity can be set to meet your smallest products and eliminates thereby the chance of smaller dust particles being counted as products. The new boards are superior to the older SPARC systems boards and cover all of their flaws! (ELSEN25PSR)

  • <20 February 2010> First test results with the XIAC "Dust-No-Problem!" special designed LED boards and lens frame are truly amazing. This problem has left manufacturer King wondering why their machines are so dust sensitive compared to the Cremer machines. XIAC has a clear understanding how dust particles interact with light and what this means for the signals that are picked up by the electronic sensors. XIAC can truly say that it has developed a system for King TC-8 (soon also TC-12 and Swiftpack) where dust is no longer a problem. Contact us now to inquire about the "Dust-No-Problem!" upgrade kit.. Installation kit comes with 100% money back guarantee and 1 year warranty.

  • <4 January 2010> Working on a solution for the mayor dust problem the King TC-8 and TC-12 have. It is almost an impossible task to count uncoated tablets (Vitamin-C; Seaweed, etc.) with these machines, incorrect counts and channel blockage occur frequently and are a significant load on the overall production speed.

  • <29 December 2009> Installed TC-8 upgrade on schedule, everything went smoothly.

  • <13 July 2009> Started with first complete retrofit of a King TC-8 counter. The TC-8 will be equipped with a high-end PLC unit and a color control terminal with touch screen. Expected installation date Xmas 2009.

  • <14 June 2009> XIAC has lounged it's new mobile website mobile.xiac.com suitable to view on PDA's or mobile phones. This is a one page summary of our Business.

  •  <01 January 2008 until 01 January 2009> We have given ourselves a 1 year term for restructuring our business focus. Our updated website points directly to the foundation of our expertise. A clear picture where offering service in combination with HighTech retrofitting is our main business purpose.

  • <06 December 2007> The chosen in feed system was still far from perfect although modifications made early 2006 had a positive effect. We are happy to announce that we finally have come up with a brand new feeder that solves all previous problems. The first tests with the new feeder immediately show great advantages, better product flow and better product separation. This leads directly to reduced product jamming, and also reduced the chance of clustered products which will therefore increase the overall count accuracy. Dependent on your budget, the feeder can either be electrically or manually driven.

  • <05 December 2006> Although a bit later than expected, the first stainless steel plates have been welded together! The thicker material that we had available will slightly increase the overall weight of the demo check-counter. Since the demo is likely to be frequently transferred, this will insure everything will stay in shape.

  • <03 December 2006> XIAC is proud to announce it's sister site http://xiac.com.au is now online and is currently a mirror of http://xiac.com This new domain represents our location in a better way. Note: Currently there's only a test mail server running on the .au domain, therefore all email send to us should NOT have the .au domain. sales@xiac.com is a valid email address, you should not use sales@xiac.com.au as this could lead to a lost email.

  • <29 July 2006> XIAC has successfully implemented an Advanced Product Recognition software routine that makes a change-over even simpler and enables future bulk counting options. The APR software samples the first (new) product after a change over and automatically calculates the optimum settings for this specific product. During the run, the APR makes minute adjustments to these settings to keep track of the optimum accuracy. To test the accuracy and future application of this new feature we have chosen a very wide variety of different products and done successful tests with these products:

§         Tablets, capsules & caplets sizes 2.2mm or larger (either solid or transparent)

§         Paperclips, Pens, Pencils and Scissors

§         Nuts, Bolts & Pipe joints

§         Stainless steel bars (tested 2.4mm diameter; 195mm long)

§         Flower bulbs, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Apples, Mushrooms, Zucchini and Carrots

§         Coins, Washers & other (open or closed) ring shaped items

§         Wrapped and unwrapped candy & Lollipops

§         Beans, Peas and similar products

§         Other shapes? Just contact the sales team and we check it for you sales@xiac.com

NOTE: Counting products in bulk has one big advantage: SPEED, this because products do not need to be separated and directed into individual counting channels. The contra of this is that the accuracy of the ASTRA routines (for detecting clustered products) is of course dependent on the consistency in size and shape of individual products. Therefore XIAC bulk counters usually run between 99.9% and 100% accuracy.

  • <14 February 2006> XIAC "Check-Mate" project has continued, we're working on a new and stainless steel demo model (ICC-02) with different (enhanced) in feed system. This new in feed system is expected to reduce tablet clogging and minimize variations in free-fall speeds. These enhancements will first be tested on the ICC-01 (later model ICC-01A) and are expected to make a big positive impact on the reliability of the product flow, automatic product identification and count  accuracy.

  • <1 July 2005> The Instant Check Counter "The Check-Mate" project is currently on hold. The first budget limit has been reached and the project is expected to be continued by the 1st of January 2006.

  • <29 April 2005> The XIAC online helpdesk is available via Yahoo messenger. Send an instant message to xiac_helpdesk.

  • <24 April 2005> The site www.xiac.com is currently under construction. The new look represents the way XIAC is looking into the future! Better design, better quality and more user friendly.
